Super Stadium - Prize Ball Lamp missing...

Hello all,

in my Super Stadium pachi the prize ball lamp (yellow LED) is missing. The socket is there, the cable leading to it is there, but the LED itself is not. ( I compared it with my Galaxy Railways frame - all looks the same - just the LED is missing where Galaxy has a LED).

Could someone please tell me what model LED I need if I would like to put one in?

It looks like a small, extra bright LED - but I dont know if it is a special model, voltage etc...

contact your seller immediately and get a replacement. they should never has sent it out missing parts.

Either that or just replace it with a bright red LED the same size. I'd say they're pretty much all the same.

All I know about the LED is that it can only work if connected correctly. If it's reversed, it won't light, and if the voltage going to it is too high, it explodes. I bet DaveRob will jump in with the proper voltage.

For fun I put an LED to a nine volt battery once...POP!

You are right. The seller would offer a replacement machine. The problem is, that the machine otherwise is clean, and it costs me about $20 in fuel to get to the seller (plus about 2 hours of lost time), so I may be better off fixing it myself...

rather than ship you a new machine have him pull the part and just ship it

I went out and dissected a Star Wars machine to test the voltage. The led in the machine uses 11.25 volts.
I have some 4 volt LEDs with resistors that will work for you.
I'm currently testing one to be sure there won't be any problems.
I you PM me your address, I'll solder one up and mail to you.

I have contacted the vendor - maybe he is willing to send me a replacement... (the vendor by the way is Imatrix).

The bulb is a small, high intensity, yellow LED

anyone who has converted the lumina to fully-cyclic has disconnected or removed that light so there should be a few around here

Update: finally I got in touch today with the vendor - and they promised to send me the missing part.

So all should be good.
