    Default Mizuho Pachinko Payoff Reset

Hello, didn't know what else to name my thread but I'm hoping someone knows about Mizuho. I've got a couple of Nishijin and have them working fine.

The Mizuho works fine except for the jackpot. Pay off all works smooth except that the white (shelf, ramp?) that the balls hit, and forces shelf down, see saw resets, ball releases fine but the shelf won't push back up into position and lock in place on the see saw. Hopefully that all makes sense...I've watched a couple YouTube videos, have the thing taken apart in back and see what it's supposed to do. Everything seems to be in place and nothing looks broken but the ramp won't return back to the right place after payoff? Any tips would be appreciated if you can make sense out of my rambling! Thanks!

Sticky pivot point on the ramp?
Remove, clean and polish pivot pin.

No, I tried that. when the jackpot ball is returned and the lever resets it seems like the piece that's supposed to push the ramp back up isn't long enough or something, but that doesn't seem right either. I'll try a few more things with the pivot point, not really sure what's going on but thanks for the advice!

The rod below the ramp looks out of place. Think it should go straight up if memory serves. Should be a gap in the plastic parts where it belongs.

Found a couple other pics..rod looks correct. Something must be binding somewhere. That ramp should easily return itself to the up position after the payout balls roll off it.

I actually just now drilled the hole in ramp to make it just a little larger and that fixed it. Hole was slightly too small...thanks again!

How do you hook a battery/power supply to the Mizuho? My Nishijins are pretty straight forward but from what I've seen online it looks like you almost have to re wire these. I'm not sure about the white connectors, etc. Any thoughts?

I would cut off the large connector and connect power to fused wire and test the others to find the correct other. White maybe? Should not require rewiring.

Completely cut off the circled connector? Should I leave the other one attached? Does fused wire mean the one coming out of the oval part? Thanks

Yes. The fuse is in the oval tube. The other connector is most likely parlor signals.

I've noticed there's not a lot of info out there about Mizuho machines. Not as much as Nishijin, etc. Just curious why that is

Simple answer is. That there are a lot more Nishijins out there than any other make.

    Hmmm...

Did you test the refill light, too?
Just a guess based on what I can see of the wiring in your last pic, but it looks like your jackpot circuit is on the yellow and green wires, whereas your refill light may(?) be on the red & black?
