Glass Breakage

If you take the glass out of your pachinko door for cleaning or any other reason, make sure you put it back in the same orientation. If not, the glass may break when you close the door. I found that pachi glass is not always square. It may be, as in the case of a Top Gun, 16 inches in one direction but slightly less than 16 inches in the other direction. That slight difference will prevent the door from closing if the glass is put in the wrong direction. If you close the door, the glass will break. This advice does not apply, of course, to those pachis with round glass or other shapes that do not appear to be square.

Thanks TC, a lesson learned. I found the same thing on a vintage one of mine, I had turned it all possible ways to get it back in, and smudged it all up again, I was thinking a little post note , just the adhesive part at the top outside would keep it oreinted properly, and be much faster than re washing/wiping both sides of the glass, again.
