Hi all. Didn't realize there were so many addicts
I've had my machines for over 25 years, been in storage or in my Garage for at least 23 of those. You know the story. Bought them, played with them awhile, didn't have room for them, put them away, forgot about them. So I was cleaning out the garage for a completely unrelated project, 1/32 scale slotcar track, and came across the machines stashed in a deep dark corner. I might add it was a DRY corner thank goodness. Went to put them in storage with the idea of taking them to Goodwill when my wife said "Now that the slotcar track is out of the family room (long story) you should put the Pachinko's back up. We have room now."
Well, they were totally dirty as you might expect from sitting in a garage for over 20 years, and they didn't work. So I started looking for info on them that wasn't available 20+ years ago and I found you. I also found Dan Reed's web page. Well thanks to all the info here and there I have all 3 working, at least after a fashion. The balls shoot up into the playing field and the games payout when I hit a jackpot. Most of the time...
Anyway, I will post pictures at some point so you can see what I have and I will slowly tell of my continuing adventures with getting them going.
I have 2 Nishijin Type "B"s and a Sankyo with an electronic shooter (with a weak spring) that has a roulette looking wheel in the center that spins when a ball drops through the top center. It has numbers on it but it doesn't seem to matter where the wheel stops the payout is always the same.
