Part replacement with 3D printing...

I've had a hanemono "Kabamaru-kun" (aka. "Hungry Hungry Hippo") with a missing part for some time - a red lens over a light.
So after getting some nice translucent red PLA, and having a bit of free time... grabbed my calipers and modeled a replacement in Autodesk Fusion 360... printed the sucker on a Printrbot Metal... and bam! strangely good for a home-made part...

Not exact... but it works.

that looks exactly like parts on the Derby King hanemono made by Nishijin at that same time period, I think there are others as well

They seem to be weak and brittle,as I've got at least three machines with damage to that specific feature
Might be a good idea to make some for sale

Your thingiverse stuff is awesome as well, 3D printers are the next wave

I have a machine with the same frame also, a member told me name was Exciting Judo Club, if you know year, could you tell me, as you see at bottom, I have no idea
