Default Arepachi hunting in Washington State

Picked up this nice Satomi Arrangeball this weekend. It is unusal in that it has bonus buttons. This is the first Satomi I have seen with them. The gentleman had bought it about ten years ago at a goodwill and had it in storage for the last five.
In the pictures you can see it original in the first and third picture. The second has an inserted skirt that I am having made today. The fourth picture shows the bonus buttons and the lights and the last picture shows the coin tray that is soon to be glued together.

It is in need of a complete going thru. The lights were out in over half of the machine. Their are four numbers that the points had spread and not making contact. But the good news is that it pays and plays.
That all being said it is one of the nicest, newest looking play field I have.
I am going to name it the Sea Lion for the Sea Lion on the playfield.

A few more pictures to make everyone happy.
Yes I know their is a piece of the coin tray missing they are looking for it and if they can find it they will mail it. I had to replace all of the balls and he was using ballbearings for balls.

A very interesting feature of this machine is when you get a ball in the Sea Lion head it pays a token and lights up the bonus lite and you can pick one of the four bonus numbers. Then if you get another ball you get another token and a bonus pick. Makes for an interesting and different game.

Nice machine and nice pics!!! Another unique machine. I like how you can get multiple bonuses per game. Haven't seen that before.

Looks like a very similar interior component layout to all your Satomi balloon machines. It has a max payout of 10 sticker on it but is there a slider switch to change that?

Actually it has a five payout label on it with a 10 sticker placed over it. I have not taken the board down to see if their is a switch behind yet. It pays 10 and all of the payouts. Another interesting feature is when the ball goes thru the Sea Lion it then goes down and trips a light also. Alot of different ways to win and I am sure that increases the odds alot. If I find a switch I will let you know.

Since it looks like the "Balloons" interior the slider switch may be on the front of the circuit board too. Interesting gameplay and the lighted center pocket seems to be a Satomi thing since it's also on the Hippie/Lion machines.

Wow, nice machine. How did you track it down? Next question, how did you procure a skirt for it/what is it made out of? The Taiyo Owls that emmadog so graciously donated to Pachitalk is set to arrive tomorrow, so I'm getting excited, but in one of he pictures I saw of it, it was missing a skirt.

I have had SlotHappy another member of pachitalk make me the skirts after I sent him some specifications. I have a owls just like yours in my album. That is a skirt made from another Taiyo Electron. I just made a piece of plexiglass on the Taiyo and glued a picture of my other one on it after modifying it a little. Not a great fix but alot better than nothing.

The Satomi was on Craigs list.

I was thinking Walrus, but now that I see the ears and hands on the hips I would have to go with mouse as well. HOWEVER, if I could just find one of these jewels for my own I would let anyone call it whatever they wanted!!! Great find! And as usual I'm jealous.

I'm going with walrus or seal? Hard to identify, but everyone seems to be on the right track with the animals. We all are agreeing that whatever it is has wiskars, chubby cheeks, and a round nose.

I just think we have to consider the orange "walrus tusks" that are on the lower part. It could be a hint?
