It was a similar situation with the machine multiplication for me as well. I had found a Nishijin recycler at an antique shop and after a month or so haggle them down to a reasonable price, it wasn't a month later that my wife had come home from a different antique shop with a Sanyo Comet II... I am fairly certain that there must be some sort of voodoo or enchantment involved!

Indeed, they silently call out to their kin to congregate and multiply. . .I'm still being tempted by a couple of machines that popped up recently. I must resist for now! But maybe. . .I think I'm in trouble
