Gran-Ciel coins won't save

Hello everyone,

I have a Gran-Ciel by Aruze that won't save credits after machine is turned off. I still leave it plugged in the wall and shut it off on the p.s. switch. If there are 30 credits in machine at shut-down, when it's turned on again, zero. Is there a lithium battery somewhere that hold this info. in memory?

it uses a capicator for backup, many of these don't hold a charge very long anymore
