Default Shooter Problem on Vicky Chance in Clinton Twp. MI

    Hello all,
I am new to Pachinko and just bought an extremely clean Vicky Chance machine. I think it is from 2006. When you turn the know the shooter clicks but I can't get the balls to shoot into the machine. When looking into the back I can see the shooter and noticed that the shooter tip is only a spring, is this normal? Looking forward to any advice anyone might have.
Also does anyone know where I can get a key for this machine or a new lock set?

Welcome to Pachitalk. The shooter is normal and the clicking is a good sign as it means the shooter is likely working fine. The issue is probably that somewhere along the way balls are not making it to to the shooter. Hopefully it's something as simple as a ball of lint preventing the balls from rolling. I am not familiar with the particulars of this machine, but if you open the front door there should be a small latch or tab to open the smaller lower door. Once open check to make sure that there are no obstructions preventing balls from moving from the front tray down to the shooter. Opening this door up and posting pictures will help make a better assessment.

turn the key to the left to just open the glass part of the door, usually pressing down on the lower latch will open the lower part

when looking at it from the back

is the machine just clicking or is the shooter arm (the part with the springs) swinging back and forth to strike the ball??

    and of course

Thanks for the responses. The shooter arm is turning and popping. As gor the small door on the front. I am still looking for a way to open the glass since I do not have the key. I can manually override the main latches by pushing the latches on the back. I haven't found the other latches yet. Does anyone know where I can get a key for this machine? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the replys. The shooter is turning and clicking. I can see it from the back. I can't figure how to get the front doors open as I do not have a key for this machine. I did figure out how to get the entire machine to swing open with the 2 tabs on the back though. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to open the glass without the key? Or does anyone know where I can get a key for this machine? Thanks in advance?

check the 2 tabs you used to open the whole machine, using just one may open the glass part.
or the release may be in that general area.
there is a glass door release, you just have to find it

I don't see any keys for sale on Ebay right now, they do show up once in awhile, a member may have a spare they may be willing to sell you

Half way between the two latches the should be a little tab sticking out, Pushing that tab down should pop open the front glass.

I buy my keys direct from Japan, But then again, I would

Thanks guys, it turns out that there was a slightly larger ball stuck in the feed just before the shooter. Once removed the game works great now, but WOW! Is it loud? Thanks for all the advice, probably wouldn't have been able to do it without you.
