Default Cell don't payout in Lumina frame

I receive my Sankyo T-REX cell today for my Lumina frame.
This is the research center link:
    PachiTalk Research Center - Sankyo - T-Rex - PachiTalk

The LCD, game and so on work fine. It's an Hanemono type game and the lower pocket 1-3-1 work to open the "wings"

My problem is for the payouts. no ball are paid when ever a ball enter any of the pockets. I know the payout mechanism on the frame is working properly because it work perfectly well with my Indiana Jones cell, Felix The Cat cell and so on. also using Daverob dongle, the loan button work and give balls as supposed.

The payouts of this cell is 5&10&11

I don't know if it suppose to pay when a ball enter one of the three pocket to open the wings, but I know the sensor there work because it register and activate the wings.

None of the pockets pay, even when entering the V zone.
No error either on the back.

I disconnected all cell connectors and reconnected them.

Anyone ever got this problem before?

question, do you have the sp or dx version (usually shown in the upper right corner of the cell)?

Yes, it's the cash version, needs a cash frame (or the 'cash' parts from a cash frame). I've got the cash version of Poochie for the Lumina, just gives me an error when a ball goes in a pocket too.

Compirate, can you explain how a "cash" model cell (in this case DX) and frame differs from the standard Lumina frame and cell?

    Thanks!

Other than the lack of ball loan buttons and display on the shooter tray and lack of a dongle connector, I would say the main difference is the payout board on the frame. The cell must send different signals that a CR payout board can't interpret. I'm not finding a CR and Cash payout unit listed in the parts section of the manual, but that doesn't mean there aren't two kinds.

Hard to find cash Lumina frames.

TilionMtl, you might have Kia (or whoever you used) contact the seller and see if they have a solution. If so, keep us informed!

Probably not finding the different parts in the manual as there are usually separate manuals for the CR and Cash frames.

The other option is to change the main control board on the cell (just the socketed CPU chip on the main control board is often enough) for the one from the SP version cell. In most cases the rest of the electronics on the cell will be identical between the Cash and CR versions.

It's just finding that control board. That T-Rex is a rare one, the Poochie is right up there too.

Would think the payout control would be easier to find.

Unfortunately I used Japamart, so no chance of work around with them.

Ok, I may be wrong, not sure if it's possible, but it seem that I recall that after I disconnected all the connectors, reconnected them, restarted the machine and put a ball in a pocket, I think the cell paid once, but once only, but I'm not totally sure.

I didn't know there was a cash version of the lumina frame. Really annoying and discouraging

When I start to think I can walk a bit more alone in the pachinko world, I end up face splashed on a brick wall, nose bleeding

I forgot to ask, can I still use the cell in the frame, or it will damage the cell or frame?

I am unsure what cell mine is.. I am having similar problems.I have a sankyo Lord of the Rings machine that was paying out fine until I hit the fever. once the ball pockets were full it stopped paying out completely even after several resets, including disconnecting all wires to all boards and starting over. Please, if anyone has an answer, please let me know.

if you mean taht the pockets are literaly full then it sounds like you have a jam built up...

you might need to take the cell out and look for some kind of object stuck in there

I had a similar thing happen and it was a simple fix..Hopefully it'll be the same with yours!!

LotR is in the Victory frame and I have a game in that frame too..about 2 months ago I was playing and wasn't paying attention and let too many balls back up without emptying the shooter tray and it stopped paying out...So I emptied the balls and still no payouts..so I look and there's an error..I try resets and nothing..and finally I notice some balls next to the payout motor that don't look right...It turns out that the backed up balls had pushed up on the payout motor which made it come loose..but since there's a cover over it it didn't look out of place..

All I had to do is open the cover and clear the balls and put the motor back in the right place..Its really easy on the Victory frame, just swing the cover up and push the motor/payout unit up into position and close the cover...Make sure the top hopper is empty or that the ball stop is down or you'll have a big mess on your hands!!

You can see more here..Page 14 (16 of the pdf)..

Hopefully thats all it is..If not I'm sorry I made you read all that!!

I didn't know there were two differnt types of frame. I always thought the 2 digit prefex was more to do with the gambling odds.
It does explain this Star Wars machine on ebay right now,
Says coin slot disabled and been made cyclic..

I'll have to remember that when looking in future.

Sorry about bringing back my old thread. I ordered a complete cash version pachinko from Japan. So I will have another cash cell (Shimura World) and a cash frame to make some test.

I may try to use the cash board in the CR frame, but I must say I'm a bit afraid to toast something.

Any recommendation prior to test the Cash board in the CR frame?
