    Welcome to the show!

Thx for your 5th post now you can use all that Pachitalk has to offer.

    Nice Single shot machine.

I noticed a can of WD 40 in the pic DO NOT USE THAT on any part of your machines with the exception being the bearings on the ball shooter!

New members posts that have links or pics need to be approved to help fight against spam...so don't worry if something doesn't show up right away, a mod or admin will be along eventually to approve it!!

and congratulations on the new machines!!

Beware the third one...The force is strong in that one, I have one exactly like it and it's the ringleader olf my vintage machines, searching out all the lonely pachinko owners and telling them they need more machines. So strong in fact it made you come and pick up it and it's three friends and it made the former owner give you the machines for free.

And some people laugh at the power these machines have.
    This will show them

If you are just powering the jackpot and low ball hopper lights all that you need is a 9volt battery.

Here is an older post to give you a basic idea of what to use.

    PachiTalk

For most machines I install the battery holder in the top corner of the machine where the power terminals usually are.
This way its just a simple reach to disconnect one of the battery terminals when done playing.

I've noticed that California has a plethora of pachinkos...old and new. I can't imagine how much fun it would be to pick up 4 free pachinkos...I live in Nashville, TN, and they don't "give 'em away" here. I have gotten 4 off of Craigslist...2 Nishijin B's for $50 each, the ArePachi that I mentioned on another thread for $75, and I was able to pick one up for $10...I really enjoyed that pickup.

I'm spending a bunch of time refurbishing them...the first one that I got off of ebay was a real junker, so I didn't worry too much about screwing it up. I just stripped it down, cleaned everything, and put it back together. When you don't worry about screwing it up, you can actually learn a lot about how it works...I'm sure that Bill Connelly's manuals are great, but you can learn the same thing just by taking it apart piece by piece. To me, that's the best way to get to know the machines.

By the way, I'm really enjoying this site thus far. I came across it a while back, but I didn't realize what it had to offer. I'm glad I gave it a closer look this time...you guys are great.

I have to agree with you, Just time time I've spent tinkering with mine recently has been very educational. They're technically wonderful machines, and fairly simple mechanically, which is the beauty of them.
