It might not be speaker related at all; I’ve got an older Sankyo Lumina cell that the sound cuts off on frequently; it didn’t used to do it. Electronic components can go bad with age and cause assorted issues unfortunately; be warned. Swap in another cell and speakers work fine.

Maybe you get lucky and it’s just a faulty volume control or pulled connector? Otherwise, I wouldn’t want to overpay for one with potential issues. Better off waiting for a newer better condition machine.

They want 100 for it I figured if it can be fixed I see early 2000s machines go for 250-300 all the time.

Maybe you can check two places, such as the pictures, but I’m not sure if it is, cuz our engineer didn’t see the machine, so we can only give you suggestion like that

It’s also possible the machine was just so dang loud some previous owner unplugged the speaker?

Still, $100 is too high for an old Sea Story of all themes unless it works perfectly and comes with balls; it’s the most common theme machine ever! Sankyo Lumina framed machine would bring more money for sure.

Got a reply from the seller they unplugged the speaker and when they went to plug it in again it didn't have sound anymore they think the amp burned out.

I’d just lay it on the seller that they shouldn’t have done that; they probably ruined that machine; but you’ll do them a big favor and take their parts machine off their hands for about $40.

Trust me you don’t want to be stuck with a half working machine you overpaid for.
