With some real simple wiring and a $2 toggle switch for radio shack, you will be good and never need a key!

Remove the key switch from the inside of the machine, and replace it with a toggle switch. That's it.

carefully open the power supply (with the machine unplugged) then it is just removing the key switch, installing the toggle in the hole and hooking the two wires to the switch
