Hello zpw13 and welcome to the group

You mentioned that you never worked on a slot machine but this is in the pachinko postings. A very innocent mistake. Perhaps a moderator could move this over to the pachislo threads?

Are you able to post some pictures of the front and back (or inside if a pachislot) of the machine so we can see what you have. Picture size limit is 2 meg maximum. I think there are a couple versions of the Thunderbirds machine. I have the one pictured below and might be able to help if you have the same. Many other members here can also help as most things about these machines work the same. Ask anything, many come around at all hours of the day.

Welcome to Pachitalk! Do you have a multimeter? You can look at fuses (often mounted on the front panel of power supply), you can see if the wire is intact. However, sometimes the wire is broken behind the metal caps. Looks good...but won't work. With a multimeter, you can check for continuity, which proves if good or bad. Keeps from wasting time searching for a problem elsewhere. You can also check that power is passing through the power switch. Past that...I don't know what the voltages should be...or where. Others will know what to check if you are up to checking. If you elect this route, you should open a new thread.
Many great and knowledgeable people here. ne of the frendliest forums I have encountered!
