    Default Thoughts after one week...

I picked up a star wars R2D2 pachinko the other sunday, with many welcomes from this board, So I think I'll give you some feedback..

Got the machine home and plugged it in...Nothing happened...Thanks to the lucky resource this forum has to offer and other owners previous feedback. I knew exactly what to do. Leave it on and have a cup of tea. After 10 minutes, reset the power.

    Hey presto.

In a galaxy far far away...

I've been playing every night after work all week, Finally yesterday afternoon I got fever twice. All going great till a nice japanese lady started ringing a door bell and asking me please do something... hmmm. Quick look at the error code told me the lower ball tray was full...

Next stage is to build a wall mounted cabinet and ball lifter and source some more balls. I've ordered smart card and emulator from daverob ready to go in when construction starts. no doubt I'll keep you informed..

I can see what you mean here that one is not enough. i have started lookinig at other machines, looking for something cute, but not to sexy to get me in to trouble with the wife. So I think yellow cab is out of the window. Shame there isn't a Loveplus pachinko. I'm a big fan of Rumiko takahashi so I might have to look out for Urusei Yatsura.

A big thanks to everyone here for helping me get started on this fun hobby.

Glad to hear you are enjoying it! I usually fire up Dai Yamato and go play Eva 2 for a while till it warms up...odd that of my 3 lumina frame games that one has such a tough time... not like it has a ton more going on animatronics wise... does yours sputter towards the end? The main cannons on my Dai Yamato sorta tick down like a watch hand then reset themselves.

Yes, the same sort of thing happens with R2s head. With a few flickering ligths round the outside. He looks drunk.

Just remember to keep the lights on because they mulitply in the dark. Also make sure that you use a power strip and turn it off at night. If you just use the power switch, on some units the transformer stays on. Good luck and enjoy the hobby. Any questions...just ask the group.
