Cool Pachinko road trip Compirate's house!

I finally made the pilgrimage to go checkout Compirates massive collection of pachinkos a few days ago, and visited our nation's capitol to check out the National Mall museums, monuments, White House....yada yada yada. Long story short, compirate just so happens to live in the D.C. area and gave me quite the massive, most legendary load of pachinko's and pachinko paraphanalia most have probably ever seen in their life. I got a eceletic assortment of modern pachinkos that spans most every type machine made: 3 Hanemono, 1 Kenrimono!, 2 Digipachis (Lumina cells), 1 Arepachi at either ROCK BOTTOM PRICES or even better; absolutelly FREE for the flooded restoration Apollo 1 arepachi project.

Compirate also was most generous give me most of this stuff for making the trip: 100+LB official ball counter from a parlor, battle counter, pachicounter, Sankyo cell cleaner, several parlor ball trays, ball tray carts, pachislo token chest, numerous gold "special prizes", flags (even a rare Fever Star Wars one and a Yello Cab ), flag holders, Fever Star Wars full size promotion guide, some small Cutie Honey guides, pachinko magazines, parlor catalogs, "Do You know pachinko" book, and lots of other things I'm probably fogetting about. Thanks Compirate!

Dave was doing well, we hung out and talked for a couple hours while I was rummaging through pachinkos, I think he's looking to thin the herd a bit though. Which is good news for everyone else! There's lots of gems and unique machines I've never even seen on this site in his possesion he's more than willing to part with for very reasonable prices....if only I had more room or drove a moving truck to his house LOL.

The one Victory frame with Road Construction cell was never even unwrapped from the cling wrap from Japan apparently! No transformer installed (but not an issue since he gave me a massive 24v transformer that can run 4+ pachinkos last year). I highly encourage others to make a visit while in the DC area, I can assure everyone there's plenty more pachinkos, cells, and various accessories to fill up a Uhaul truck or two... The National Mall museums 45 mins from his house were also quite impressive and a nice side diversion from the pachinko road trip!

I finally got around to swapping cells to my Lumina frame to try out one of the "new" cells, I tried the James Bond 007 cell since compirate mentioned he had mulitples of this cell and one of them might have a bad LCD screen (and priced it super low accordingly). Luckily for me, it works perfectly fine! Thank you again compirate! It even gave me 2 fevers almost immediately after playing for about 5 mins. I really like this cell (for a digipachi!), it utilizes the chance button probably more than any other Lumina cell I own (I've got a bunch of them ) and who doesn't like the James Bond theme? Apparently it's got different modes (its stuck in modern mode now) and a real time clock feature I need to figure out, this cell has a lot going on as far as features, great reaches, fevers are repetitive is my only complaint; however round 6 of the fever features Halle Berry which somewhat makes up for the repetition.

You're a very lucky man who scored personal picks from one of the legends of the American Pachinko Collector fraternity.

Just thought you should know that, in case you didn't.

Yep, that was a legendary haul of goodies that doesn’t come around often! One in a lifetime perhaps! Compirate has excellent taste In pachinkos that is for sure!

Oh yeah, I forgot to add a pic of the absolutely FREE Apollo 1 arepachi that had flood damage (that has since been cleaned and repaired) from Arby’s collection I also acquired during this trip but isn’t pictured above. So this machine is on it’s 3rd owner from pachitalk! I believe a few others are “Arby machines”; one of the founding fathers of the site from back in the day for those that don’t know.

So jelly..... a great machine and a throwback to the fascinating Arepachis of yesteryear.
