I'm curious , Which machines do you play more on : Vintage or Modern ?

For me the modern is more played

i have all modern ones, I did play my brothers vintage about 40 years ago, but, it was pretty new them

I play my oldest ones the most because I can set myself a simple goal like getting a ball in the hardest pocket and then play for 15 to 30 minutes. It makes a nice break from whatever else I'm doing.

Pretty even feelings i guess. I like the vintage (only have one) because there is a little more interaction involved with the start lever, but I like the modern because of all the lights and sounds.

If you're talking about pachinkos, I have a preference for the older games. I own one vintage pachinko which is a lot of fun, but my preference for these games falls within the eighties and nineties, when they were colorful and more mechanical. Although today's pachinkos have great sound and vivid LCD screens, I find myself playing my "Double Wing" or "Hurricane" more often than my newer machines. They seem to be a bit more dynamic in that there is some skill involved to ht certain pockets to open others. On Double Wing, although the payouts when in a Bonus may not be as large as the new machines, they are consistent and I find myself almost never needing to fill the ball tray on the front of the machine.

In Pachislos, I don't really have a preference. I like the older versions as much as I do the newer.

I'm a fan of interactivity... but in the modern sense.

I prefer modern, large LCD pachinkos which include two things:

1. Good, non-repetitive music. Preference for continual play instead of start and stop each spin.
2. A large variety of win conditions/reaches/animatronics to keep one entertained.

I like the modern machines for their themes and the lights. Give me a nicely laid out vintage any day. Last time we had a power failure my wife lite candles through the house, the kids were bummed because there computers wouldn't work and I just kept on playing with a smile.

Actually, I enjoy playing all of the Pachinkos I have, and each one for maybe different reasons,
so I see no reason why I wouldn't love older Pachis just as much

and to borrow from someone else's phrase...
