Yep! I was in contact with the seller on that one, but he wouldn't ship.
Has anybody tried to have a pachi packed by the fedex/ups/whatever place? If so, what does it cost? The stopper for this seller was "I don't want to go through that." (Meaning the process of packing up a heavy machine). Might've been a different story if I could have told him to just take it to the ___ store.

When I buy something from craigslist in another state, I ask the seller for their Zip Code, then search on Google for a packing place in their area who also does shipping. I call ahead and verify prices and make all of the arrangements, then confirm the location with the seller and ask them to drop the item off in the next day or two. I have had good results this way (with sellers who are willing to ship).
I google "Pack & Ship XXXXX" (where "xxxxx" is the seller's Zip code) and I usually get lots of results.

I went to a pak n ship to see what they would charge to mail a heavy Machine from Washington state to the east coast. Its weight was about 90 pds packaged.
The shipping buy UPS and the insurance was $175 . The packing by the store was $162 dollars. They have an excellent guarantee but the fees are ...
