Babel, exstage and digital slot???

I just received Babel today from Big BearPachislo Shop. The machine arrived in excellent condition! Their was a small hole in the outer box and my local FedEx driver called me this morning before he loaded it on his truck an asked me if I wanted him to deliver it or send it back. I asked him why I would want it sent back and he said there was a label on the box that read (do not accept if seeing any damage on the box). I asked him to deliver it anyway because I figured the machine was double boxxed. When it arrived their was only a very small hole in the outer box and no signs of any damage. I was surprised that the driver called me at all. I have never had a call from any delivery service. I did thank him for his concern.
Back to why I am posting. On the front of Babel right below the fourth reel is a digital display. This display reads exstage and digital slot. I have not seen it light and there is no mention of this in the manual I received with the machine or on Big Bears web site. Is this supposed to do anything or was it for casino use only?

if it works the same as rai rai goku

the led will give amount of tokens won, and after jackpot gives you a chance of bonus rounds by matching numbers.

Actually the three machines with this style case do different things with this display.
6 monks- it will count down from like 150 and when it reaches 0 it will try to match 3 numbers for a bonus round.
Rai Rai Goku- Like LickyD said, counts coins won on bonus then does the match thing like above.
Babel- Just counts the winnings, no special bonus games.
