    Default Brand NEW Machine?

As y'all know, the Arraking arrived with the hopper unseated in its rails causing it to flop around during shiping and breaking the 24v power connector.

I contacted Eric right away, told him the problem and that my nephew could repair it. I phoned Monday and word arounnd the shop that Eric had a meeting and told everyone to watch their "Ps" and "Qs"!

Bless his heart, he is even sending extra tokens for my trouble!

While talking to Joseph I asked if they ever got in brand new, unused machines. He told me that once in a great while they do. I have a sneaky hunch this one is for a couple of reasons. Check these pics of the inside.

Of course the children had to check it out too. King Kat inspecting.

Then Dammit had to check things out.

Another thing that makes me wonder was the token slide. It would NOT accept tokens. Kyle did some checking and founnd that there is a plastic(?) bar above the bent token ejector that was never set for tokens!

If this machine had been used before that couldn't have happened in my book. The piece was NOT loose so it couldn't have slipped during shipment.

What do you think, new or used?

very clean looking machine, as for the cats if my dog ever ran into those 2 cats it would be the end of my dog.

Sure looks clean and nice inside, Tony! If it were brand new, there shouldn't be any fine scratches or wear on any of parts of the token mechanism. Looks as if you got yourself a great deal!

It's a used machine. If you notice on the back wall above the hopper the vent slots have been cut away to form a square hole so the parlor could hook it up to their feed system, and the knock out for the token overflow is gone. If it was a brand new machine these areas would still be intact. Other than that it looks to be a VERY clean machine.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

I doubt it. King Kat and Dammit are real *****s! They aren't allowed out and run from an open door.

Slotter, I haven't found scratch or blemish one on the outside either.

If it is used as Lddrizzt says, and I have no reason tto doubt him, then it wasn't used very much. It is one clean machine!

I do like the machine and it is fun to play.

That is one small dog then!

Dammit LOVES to play fetch and will pester me until he gets tired of it, about 20 minutes or so. Fun cats, not quite 2 years old yet.

my gold treasure is spotless like yours, inside and out,

the back knockout and the bottom one by overflow are still there.

the out side chrome is spotless and scratch free.

the outside case looks factory new, no filled holes and excellent finish.
