Default Wondering how real pachinko parlors handle ball logistics

This is a subject I've always been very interested in but never really found any solid info on. Apologies if this isn't really the right section since I'm not talking about home builds, but it seemed like the best fit.

So, how do actual pachinko parlors manage balls for so many machines? With no modern machines coming stock with lifters or recyclers I assume there's gotta some pretty interesting logistics systems going on behind the scenes. In Techmoan's video on his Sankyo Star Wars machine he talks a bit about parlors having "networks of tubes" to collect drain balls and refill the hoppers, but I haven't been able to find actual pictures of that or anything. When I first learned about pachinko and thought the machines were all mounted in walls, I figured there was just a little hallway on the other side of the wall where staff could fill the hoppers and empty drain buckets, but it looks like parlors generally have their machines in little double-sided islands rather than being mounted in the walls so It's gotta be some kind of at least somewhat automated contained system in there.

Does anyone know of any good pictures or videos of this, or at least have experience with how it's done? Logistics systems for handing and stocking loose objects is really interesting to me, I've put insane amounts of hours into Factorio and industrial modded Minecraft making and optimizing stuff like this.

    Thanks in advance!

One way is to search through the companies that recycle parlour equipment. But there you mostly see the collectors behind each machine and the feeders to the top.
Unlike a home set up. the balls are constanly in motion

    Try a search using

    玉補給システム

    Or Sankyo's website

yeah I want to see the infrastructure too. I love seeing old photos of the attendants manually loading hoppers.

That's crazy, I can't even imagine how loud this must all be and the sheer number of balls that need to be in the system for it all to run smoothly.

I did some digging and found a pretty decent video showing how it all goes together:

I wonder if pachislo has something similar?
