    Default jekyle & hyde

    Greetings,
I have a pretty cool jekyle & hyde (wish it was Dr. Jelkyll and Mr. Hyde) Pachislo. I can only "bet" 3 metals per turn. I know this must be a setting or configuration. I would like to be able to choose 1,2, or 3 .. I would love any documentation that anyone may have to help me with this machine.
    Thanks

Without seeing a pic of your machine, i am presuming it is the 2003 Mizuho model that I think also goes by a few different names, "Jekyll and Hyde", 'YajiKita' and "Douchuuki been taunting X"

Here's our Research Centre listing PachiTalk Research Center - Mizuho - Jekyll and Hyde - PachiTalk

I am unsure if this is actually a Max Bet only machine, a lot of pachislos are max bet only even if their buttons can often suggest otherwise

Hopefully a member with this one or similar can advise you

In the meantime Welcome to PachiTalk!!

    Welcome

Most machines made after 2002 are max bet only. (though there have been a few 2 or 3 bet machine produce recently)
To save on cost Companies would regularly used the same chassis in different years and just developed some new titles. The early version may have been 1,2,3 bet machines only to give way to the max bet. The capability may still exist within the chassis but I would think you would need to reprogram and/or change out some of the boards.
Not a easy task and I've yet to hear it be accomplished.
You can still use the one bet button during a Jac-IN

Alrighty then. I had no Idea. This is a brand new hobbie for me. I bought one, then 10 minutes later another, then went back a week later and bought the 3rd. Only have $400 tied up in the trio. I love them, and am looking for a Popeye now.
I am wanting to learn about how pachinko machines work now. Seems to be a cool hobbie, but i don't have a clue how they work or what the attraction is with them. I am sure I am on the right forum to learn about these creatures.
