Default Late 40s machines?? No plastic.

I was bored the other day and was looking at my basement and thought "gee I don't think there are enough pachinko machines down here" (damn things clone themselves whenever I'm away too) So I picked up four more. Here are two of them. I need help identifying the year and make. My best guess is late forties (or I liked to wish they are that old) playfield items are hand painted and there is no plastic. Have nooo idea who manufactured them. Heeeelp

They are late 40's. I want to say maybe 48 (that was the year the masamura gauge was introduced which both these have.) As for manufacturer...forget it. At that time period people were kinda just making them wherever and didn't really have a company name.

Still way cool. Are the pockets on the second one tin or bakelite?

    100 machines and counting...

Bakelite is cool stuff and the forerunner of today's plastics. Old phones, radios, etc from adound the 40's are made of Bakelite.
The Masamura gauge is the layout of the pins and is a standard layout. Look at various machines from decades past and you'll notice the pins all have the same layout with a little variation here and there.
You have some very nice machines and IMO, are much more desirable and interesting than most machines made from the 60's on.
