I was looking for the same thing yesterday. I was not able to find anything in the U.S. My best guess about where one would possibly be would be on the West Coast in a Japanese neighborhood. I would think it might be underground given the connection of Pachinko to gambling in that culture.

Only other guess might be in Vegas.
I used to eat lots of natural foods until I found out most people die of natural causes.

Open it as a sales business. Plus the Chuck E Cheese thing.

Pay to play, and everything's for sale. Done on a small scale, it might make a buck.

I actually tried something similar. I had a kid's party place with a moon bounce and ball pit, arcade games, pinball and a pachislo room! I had pachinkos for a short time but sold them quickly and couldn't find replacements at the time. All of the games were for sale but most of our income came from parties. Unfortunately, the space was too small to do multiple parties so we couldn't do enough parties to be profitable. By the time we found a large enough space at a reasonable price the economy was getting a bit shaky so we closed up shop. It was fun while it lasted, though!

did you have any trouble with the authorities, regarding gambling?

just wondering. I figure if chuck E cheese and dave and Buster's can do it here, it should be OK for pachinko, too? not pachislot in CA, though.

We didn't charge to play. We charged a fee for the party (basically rented the place out) based on number of kids and all games were on free play. I made sure that the pachislo trays were full of tokens before each party. No prizes were involved. We never had a problem with the authorities.

Have you been to this place?

I used to live in Hilo back in 1979. Dont recall seeing a parlor there. Of course that was back in the dark ages (or awkward teen years).

It's Suite 104, the bakery is suite 101

Ah yes. I see it. Near the airport.

I went to Waiakea High School. I could have driven down Kawili st and it would turn into Manono. Also near the park. One of the best Japanese Gardens in Hawaii is there.

Boy that city is still really small. Lost in time.

Haven't been there. Wish I knew about it when I was in Hilo a few years ago. A member on another site has been there and they recently split a pachislo pallet purchase with the owners. The place only had older pachislos, but now they have 12 newer LCD ones and from what he said the patrons love them!
