Default Machine does not fully power up

I have a Space Adventure Cobra machine. It is extremely dusty!! Someone left it outside for years. The neon lights will light up and the hopper will spin when in test mode, however nothing else on the machine functions at all.
The power light on the power box turns on red with the powering on of the machine and quickly fades out. Why?
I've unplugged the machine from the power box, so it's isolated but it still does the same thing.
Is it the power box, or is the machine required to pass a certain set of tests before the red light stays on?
I did disassemble the power box to find the fuse inside (which controls the hopper) was good, and all other components "look" good.
I've also blown the rest of the machine out. What am I missing?

Hello and Welcome to PachiTalk ! ! !

Could you post a few Pic's of your Machine? I can not find a listing for it. Do you know what Company made it?

Wait. . . Think I found it. Cobra made by Olympia in 1996. Are these Pic's of it?

    Welcome Aboard

When you say outside, i hope you mean in a barn or shed or something.
It does sound like a problem with that power box. I would have thought the LED should stay illuminated,
It might be worth unplugging it from the mains supply and opening it up to see if anything looks suspect inside. But you might have to find a replacement fomr somewhere

Oh those are cool looking reels

The transformer might not be putting out 24v, did you see if the correct voltage is powering the machine?

Wow, sounds like a lot of work. I was hoping the answer might be a little easier.

Well I sold the machine on Craigslist to some very excited people. Thanks for the offer to help. I just didn't have the time.
