Holy Cow.....Pachi's at Toys-R-Us!!

Was kind of surprised when I walked into my local Toys-R-Us today. There, down the sporting goods isle, was a big display of Pachislo's. Since when is Toys-R-Us selling Pachi's?? They explain the whole background of the machines and features and have them boxed in a colorful box with a see-thru front. I saw machines such a Punch Rush, Onogoden (I think thats what it said) and one that was all Japanese writing. $199.99 was the price on all.
Is this a first for these machines hitting national toy stores?

I've never heard of this either. I'll check the one near my house this weekend. Were they demo-able?

Yes they had a demo. They had one bolted to the shelf powered on but no tokens.

Galyon's Sporting Goods here in Louisville (recently aquired by Dick's Sporting Goods) had several machines for sale, also for $199. The wood boxes were freshly painted with gloss black and cleaned up nicely.

The Galyan's store in Kansas City, (now Dick's) has had Pachislos for quite some time. However, their $400 price is a bit too hefty. They came from Direct Gaming International.

They had a spin off store of Kids 'R Us, so will Pachis 'R Us be far behind??

Keep us informed, CardMan. Very interesting to see that they are in NY stores, too. When Sam's Club had them, I never found any in the Sam's in NY.

Nope none in yet. I talked to a floor manager and he said he had seen a list of what he thought were slot machines Anyway he said their is a sh#@ load of them coming in:questionm I asked him what price and he didn't have the price they would be selling at. For all we know they may just be those play battery operated ones

Sams Club in Tampa,FL is selling them as well.....but they are fixed so you cant use tokens...249.99$$ there
