Default Penguin: my 30 minute impression

The first thing I noticed was how new my game looked.
The ashtray is covered and has a note presumably saying no smoking please.
The ball lock in back was easier to unlock then my Heiwa.
The play hopper is much smaller then that of the Heiwa.
This means when you hit the triple match,
you have work fast to keep the play hopper full while playing fever mode.
Having the choice of playing goals is nice.
Aiming for the start pocket or four-in-a-row in the Allwins lights is fun.
The black playfield requires good lighting or you won't see the balls.
I liked the sound effects, and happy carnival music.
The 1st tier fever has exciting music & lights,
and is humorously amended by "penguin commentary" when you don't exploit fever mode sufficiently.
I haven't yet found the sound volume switch, but I like noise when I play
The Allwins pauses take some getting use to, and give the game a slower playing feel.
This plus the more frequent play tray refills make Penguin a more leisurely experence.
The five tier fever design means there will be many many hours of play before winning the top big bonus.
Over all, a welcome addition to my game family.
I look forward to playing late into the night.

That will keep you busy for awhile, no drooling on the machine, bad for the wires.

There's so many games I want next,
but for the most part I'll wait until the spring flood of games.....unless....

The volume control on the Penguin is behind the bottom door on the front of the machine. Open the glass door to access the latch on the ball tray door - volume control is on the left side. I did notice that my Penguin tends to be quiet and it is the only machine that I have left on the highest volume setting.

    Thanks Clau,
I hope your enjoying yours as much as I like mine.
    It's a very mindful game
Has anyone translated the true name of this game yet?
I've fixed the bent pins the previous owner "adjusted" over Allwins tab 3 & 5.
Have you found any usable adjustments in the back?
TA had yellow painted one of the circuit board cover "snap keepers",
    but I dont know why.

I have played my machine (Penguin) for a week now. It is an incredible machine . I hit two bonus rounds almost back to back. This is definitely a must have machine.

You should learn it secrets and write a review for it in the pachinko museum section.

Never mind. Please don't post impressions on this sucky machine. If you do, I'm not even going to read them.
