    Default Other skill-stop slots?

Does anyone know of other skill-stop slots, besides our beloved pachislos?

I have seen at the New Jersey shore... in Wildwood (not a gambling town like Atlantic City), many arcades there have slots that are "skill-stop". They dispense tickets (if I recall correctly??) that are exchanged for prizes. Not the cool stuff like we see in the pachi-parlors... but that Chuck E. Cheese kind of stuff.

If you follow this link, then click on photos, you can see some of them.
Also, you can see that these are played by all ages!
Know of any others like this around???

Edit: Now that I look at the pics closer, I see they DO dispense tokens! Hmmm.
You can see the coin cups next to the machines!

i have a feeling these would work in a ticket way, i have seen in some other arcades in the past, using machines like slot machines, or the pusher machines, and instead of giving out the tokens, it keeps them in the bottom of the machine, and spits out a pre-determined amount of tickets per token, this makes it easier at the prize booth to only have to take tickets, instead of both tickets and tokens, and also, heeh it makes it a little bit more LEGAL

I was up at Wisconsin Dells a few weeks ago and went to an arcade in the resort that we were staying in. They didn't have any kind of slot, but a lot of machines that you drop in tokens to try to push other tokens off a ledge. These are usually quarter in quarter out types of machines, but there they converted everything to hold in the tokens and spit out tickets, just like mentioned above.

On the token tubs.... This arcade also had those even though nothing there gave out tokens. Turns out that in 5 min of playing one of these machines you can get literally several hundred tickets. People were stuffing them into those token tubs just to keep them all in one spot.

The cherrymastrer machines are all video screens and you can stop one row at a time or all of them.

they pay out in tickets also.

Used to be you would see them everywhere in Las Vegas. I haven't seen a single one now for a long time. Too bad as it seems they paid off better than most slots.

I've actually been looking for one of those, but haven't ever been able to figure out what to search for on eBay. They're just sooooo much fun. Especially at our State Fair where they do them with quarters instead of tokens or tickets.

That's how I remember it too, keester.
And the tokens were equal to a bunch of tickets. But you had to use them for trade, and couldn't put them back into the machines.
I think their video-poker machines were the same way.

When you were in Wildwood, did you "Watch the Tram-car"?
