Conti 4X Volume Feature

Ok, now this is cool.

I'm having a blast on my bonus round when the phone rings. I get a complaint from the other half (on the other end of the phone) about the noise of "the damned machine." So I walk into the other room. About about 60s the volume decreased by half. When I come back and hit the button to play more, the volume snaps back up.

Who knew the thing had some kind of automagical volume control! Now if I could only tap into that instead of having the volume controllers on the speakers....

Noticed that with my Firedrift and Azteca L Returns, they both mute down after a shortwhile - only found out because I was so impressed with the bonus rounds that I was taking a video of the machine "in action" for about 60 seconds

All of my machines do that in a BB with the exception of the Wai X2 Pulsar and the King Jack, but they are both mid to late 90's machines.

I timed a coupla when I first hit a BB on the KC and volume dropped after 30 seconds as do the others. In AT mode the KOTBW drops around 45 seconds later, but drops in 30s after a BB.

Wish we could tap into that for normal play!

No kidding!!! The volume is absolutely PERFECT when it mutes itself. Even the King Camel loses that piercing sound from the tweeters.
