Default 120V to 100V Transformer Question

Hi, completely new to Pachislot, and not very electrical-savvy at all. Just got my first slot yesterday, the manual with the machine says it runs at 100V. From the listing on Amazon: "Power Supply: Household power supply (AC 100 V ±). When you receive it, you can plug it into your home outlet"
I'm in the US with 120V outlets. The manual says to not plug the machine in to anything but a 100V outlet. I guess my questions are as follows:

-Can I plug the machine in for a few minutes to test if it works normally in a regular US outlet, so I can make sure I don't need to contact the seller for any reason? I only have a small window to ensure it works where I can be reimbursed.

-Is it really bad for the machine to plug it into a US 120V outlet when it runs on 100V? It was of course decently expensive, so I don't want to take any risks or damage it! I've just seen some conflicting info on this.

-If I need some type of transformer, does anyone have any recommendations?

thanks so much for any help, and if pictures of the machine are needed I can open it up and provide those as well! Here is a link to the Amazon page that may help too: https://www.amazon.co.jp/-/en/Pachis..._1675777909917

A lot of US owners don't bother witha transformer on the 100v machines without any issue. Some like to play it safe. I would always air on the side of caution.
For modern pachis. your going to need quite a high current transformer. Exact spec depends on the machine data plate.

what ever you do, for goodness sake. check its not a 24v pachislo. as they can come in either voltage and all have the same 2 pin plug.

Thank you so much for taking time out to reply, it means a lot to me. I'm so sorry if these seem like obvious things to find out! The plug itself has a tag that says 100V, as does the pamphlet that came with the machine. However there's an additional piece that the guide only refers to as a 'connector' that has a 24V tag. I'm not sure if this make the entire machine 24V in that case?

again very sorry to bother you with things I should probably know and I do appreciate all of your help!

Sorry to double reply, I believe I found the data plate which looks like it is listed at 100V as well. I'm assuming this should be ok to at least plug it in for a minute or two to ensure it works while I wait for a transformer to arrive to fully play it? Data plate info here:

So if you want to be extra safe a 120-100 v transformer with a rating of 105va minimum. I personally always go one size up. So 110-120 VA

Of course. It may work perfectly fine without it. Although I'm not telling you to try it.

Thank you so much for all of your responses, I think I understand it a bit better now! I will definitely be getting a transformer just to be safe.

does this one (the 200W) seem like it would work alright for this particular machine? Thanks again(:

The 200w one should be fine. For under $40 I would prefer the piece of mind too. Bonus that it has an on/off switch as well.
