    Default Kyoraku Modern.

Here is a Kyoraku modern in my favorite frame, and 9 reels!! My phone translates its name to Festival Sabu-chan.. It looks like there is a more resent version of this by Amtex.. $100 start for pick up in Boynton Beach, Florida..

Looks like they took the Gladiator 9 drum and put it into this frame .

I am intrigued by this frame, and already have a gladiator. But I think this frame (or one like it) should be among the machines in the man cave.
I only have a couple machines as new as this, and not much experience with moderns.

Are there other cells in this frame that would not be similar in layout to something I already have?

Of course there is the $100 price and reasonable drive distance to obtain it that has me interested enough to consider it at all.
MrGneiss and I seem to have similar tastes in "interesting" machines, and I have bought 3 or 4 off eBay that he posted here...have to learn to resist one of these days

I know several of the first Jurassic Park pachinkos did make it to the US, but I don't see them up for sale very often anymore, and probably not for $100!!

So I drove 4 hours each way on Tuesday to pick this up from a church thrift store in the Miami area.
An electrician had checked it out and pronounced it as working the best he could tell, then he handed me 500 perfect balls all with the same markings on them that went along with it.
So for $100 dollars and a $40 tank of gas not bad.

    volcanopachiunlit.jpgvolcanopachi.jpg

There is only one English word on the whole machine. Where the ashtray would normally be is a cover and a button that says "Chance"

    volcanochancebutoton.jpg

On my other early modern Kyoraku Gladiator machine the shooter says P-Vibe but I have never felt it do anything.
This machines shooter does vibrate during the boot up self-test sequence, so I may have to look at the Gladiator again and see whats up

Dokkazan looks pretty neat, I'd be willing to try and locate a cell for that. Currently I have an Okinawa themed cell in my machine, and a non functioning Yellow cab
