Hello, need help with a manufacture date for this Sanyo Bussan machine. Just finished cleaning/ fixing/ painting and would really lke to know how old it is. No intention of selling anytime soon but just need information for my well being. Thanks

Usually the tax stamp is on the lower right of the cel with a “showa” date on it that you add 25 to, to convert into a western year. Looks like it was made in the 60’s.

A beautifully painted 60's (probably late 60's because of the plastic win pockets) Sanyo Bussan Monami*****something, hard to read the last character.

Your machine has the old style reserve chamber which may jam the seesaw (depending on front design of seesaw) if it becomes full of balls.

The updated chamber design has no covering at the front of the playfield; This updated design exposes the front reserve window so that if the chamber ever becomes full (I think 4 balls), the last-in ball will push the first-in ball and drop out the front onto a small incline ramp and back into play to be launched again.

Your machine may have a flat long metal lever located to the right of the seesaw underneath the exposed orange cover where the balls roll down into the seesaw; if it's there, shifting it to the left will close the win-reserve feature, sliding the flat metal lever to the right will open the door to the chamber and allow you to reserve a win. You may or may not have that.
