    Lightbulb Token scoop

I don't know how much trouble the rest of you have with getting tokens out of the token tray, if any, after a BB/RB, but I do, a lot. So I decided to do something about it, maybe a little shovel that came with pails like we had as kids to play on the beach. No, too flimsy and plastic.

Then recently I found these stainles steel scoops at work (Wal-Mart) in the household section for less than $4.00 each to try.

You may be able to notice the lip on the end of the unmodified scoop on the right in the picture below. I had nephew Kyle grind down most, not all, of the lip, left scoop.

As you can see in the next two pictures the scoop works like a champ, even though it isn't shown full of tokens.

Just a little tid-bit you may want to try for yourself.

But Arkansas is a long way from Japan, RK. More than 50 miles, I think.

Has anyone ever seen or have a real one...other than perhaps Arby. He has everything!

But I do smoke, John. Except the few times I quit. Never use the little ash trays, too small.

Changing the subject, does anyone know why Olympia put a car-like drink holder on the I'm Angel? The belly glass is too close for a glass much taller than a shot glass.

Okay, I left it wide open for your comments!

    Tony,
I don't think the manufacturer put the drink holder on the machine, I believe that is done by the parlor.

    Everything is smaller in Japan.

Wait, hold the phone! I never put this together before. Those cup holders are very much like the cup holders I used on my sail boat.

I think is the first proof that these machine may have actually been on a cruise ship!

Oh CRAP! , and I thought we were done with the cruise ship discussion for at least another six months.

Then it's probably not a cruise line thing. Those would have to be able to swivel from side to side.

I somewhat doubt that any cruiseline (except perhaps a Japanese flagged one) would use Paichlos. The machine is built around their gaming laws of a maximum 5:1 pay out. Once in international waters there are no gaming laws to speak of.....
