I think the nature of the post "The lighter side" or "These are the days of our lives" are perfect for friendly banter. Getting to know your comrads makes this forum fun. Some of you I really want to meet because of it, others would make a good clinical study (kidding). I think some of the other pages that have "mods" or vendor specifc zones should be kept relatively "fluff" free and on topic.

It would be nice to have a knowledge zone where all the fluff is removed and items like quarter mods, bandit arms, credit mod chips, lock, reset info etc is available and only the moderator(s) could move post too with all the banter removed.

I have never joined that "pay" site but their monicor is Information... I think I have gotten most of what I wanted from this site + friendly banter, but its not always been straight forward, and in some cases I have seen "newbys" ask a question only to be admonished by a senior member that the answer was in some obscure post of 6mths ago just cause they are tired of answering the same questions. Thus my suggestion for a definative idea bank.

Jay, I think you must be a "very" organized person. This idea is somewhat like the one you had for the Members Photos. I liked that idea and tried to back you up on it...but I think it went nowhere fast. I agree that things sometimes get off topic. It only takes one comment to get things going in another direction. It would be nice to have an area in the technical rooms to make the side comments and keep the thread relatively clean. Sorry, I for one have a hard time biting my tongue when I see an opportunity for a little humerous interaction regardless of which "room" we happen to be in.
