    Default Hi from Switzerland

Hi everyone - I'm new to pachislo, however I'm already a collector of japanese arcade cabs and games (from 15hz Jamma to modern 16:9 JVS pc based hardware).
Just received this little baby through fromjapan proxy service

    Gen6 - Fall 2019 (more or less)
I'v got it for 27'000 yen in a very excellent and clean shape (including coinless mod, however I've removed it since I've got 1000 tokens from Japan too)

    Hello from Canada!

Can I ask a question? What kind of arcade history does Switzerland have? Do you have your own history there of gambling / arcade machines?
I know a bunch of the history of 20th century arcade/gambling for countries like Britain, Germany, Finland, etc, but I don't know if I see many Swiss machines. sorry, just a random though
WANTED: 10¥ candystore games, pre-1950s Japanese machines, スマートボール (Smart Ball), 1948 Bally Heavy Hitter, Pickwick-style (~1905)

    Sure

    Video Games/Pinball
Switzerland was quite influenced by Italy and France in regard of parlors (many people wanted to have the same feeling from vacation back in their home town). There have been a few in the larger cities, however have been passed away in the early 2000 to almost zero. However the Japanese arcade gaming collector scene is growing every year since aprox 2005.

    Slot Machines:
That’s a totally different story there – in every little village exists at least one small restaurant/bar, where all the workers are for breaks or after work beers. They typically play “Jass”, a card game, however there was almost no on those locations with not at least one slot machine; very popular. However recently I haven’t seen any of them in regular ones (if I remember right, we had a law-change a few years back). Here from our local bidding platform a few of those machines:

thank you, I love hearing about the arcade life of other countries.
some of the slot machines there seem like a hybrid between the glorious/monstrous British solid-state fruit machines, and a pachislo.
Most of the older machines listed seem to be Germany, so I assume there was a lot of importing from there

But most importantly, thanks for the link. It's often hard for foreigners to figure out the exact places to go within a country to even look at used machines.
