Default Show me how you've mounted your Pachinko!

Now I'm done I need to work out what to do with my Pachinko.

My kids are enjoying playing it and I think I want it mounted high enough that you can either sit or stand playing it. I was atually thinking of cutting some plaster and mounting it flush into the wall. I could screw it down into a noggin but not sure how to support the top to stop it from tipping when I would need to open it.

You guys mind giving some tips on how you have mounted your machines. Feel free to add photos.

    Cheers.

2x 10mm threaded bolts, or roofing bolts, going into furniture threaded inserts, top and bottom into a cabinet. so four in total. No side fixings, just top and bottom.

Wall mount cabinets always work nicely.

Here are some nice basic plans that are quite easy to modify to your own taste.

I had the idea of mounting my Pachinko Machine on a turntable for easy access to the back. I didn't want to mount it to the wall or build a standing cabinet. I prefer to be able to move it to any table in the house easily. I went to Home Depot and purchased a small wooden table top and a lazy susan bearing. Really simple to put togther and works fantastic:

First off where the balls are hanging up. The nails simply need to be adjusted. Take a pair of needle nose pliers and wrap a towel or rag around the tips (so they don't marr the nail) Then carefully bend the nail in the direction needed. It doesn't take a ton of force to move the nail seeing they are solid brass.

As for the arm going to the jackpot. That thing does look to be pretty loose. The one pivot point there next to the drain chute looks pretty suspect. If you could post some pictures of that from different angles (or another video) that will help.

Thanks mxfaiman. I created a bit of confustion by posting this video in two threads. I just posted here to show off my turntable mount. I have another thread where I first asked these questions. I appreciate your advice and will try bending the nails. Moparformance figured out the problem with the loose arm but I posted another vid in that other thread asking for help with the fix. I could come up with something but I'm wondering what the correct fix is.

The first is in a old medicine cabinet recessed in the spare bathroom

The one in the office i had a pegboard on the wall so I just used shelf arms two on the bottom and one one the top with styrofoam around the gap to quiet the sound of the balls

Build a simple "bookcase" into the wall using dead space - garage, closet, under the stairs area. We do custom doubles but a single is the same. Be sure to add a light switch for the internal outlet - it's commonly forgotten but important.
Your in NJ we're in CT so if you need a walk through ask me.

Then when you eventually move, pull the machines, add selves and you've got built-in bookcases. Instant $$ upgrade for the sale everyone loves built-ins!

The tops of those new games are quite pronounced! You need the flashy lights just so you don't run in to them

Yeah, they stock out about 10" these new ones started with the right side extensions and now have moved to the top. That GARO one has a huge Lion Head tucked inside the extension that pops out like a clam shell when you reach fever. Wicked cool!

And yes the Avengers one has the warning built right in (I thought we use to have a bang into wall emoji?)
