Don't let ANYONE use your connection!!!!

Just a friendly lil note to all of you, If you have friends or family that has a paypal account, DON'T let them access their paypal on your internet connection!!!. They will freeze your account!!!!! My father was spending the night with my grandfather that is recooperating from a heart attack last tuesday. He is big on watching the auction that he is bidding on and makes it a priority to pay within 5mins. of auction close. He gets on grandpa's puter, watches the auction count down and close. He wins so he proceeds to get on paypal. Pays for the item out of his account.

Yesterday he and my grandfather both recieve emails stating that their paypal accounts have been frozen till further investigation is concluded.

So unless you wanna go through alot of :bsflag: :bsflag: don't let ANYONE access their paypal account on your internet connection.

You and your family seem to have the most interesting problems with ebay and paypal. I've accessed my paypal account from many different computers and others have from my home and I've never had an issue. Not even a blip of an issue...

Paypal has worked flawlessly for me for years with hundreds and hundreds of transactions on many different computers. You have some other issues going on there, imo.

i'm a verified paypal member with almost 800 transactions,

only one disbute where they held 40.00 because a lady said she didn't get her item.

p.o. tracking said she did and paypal released my 40.00.

I been on ebay with paypal for a lot of years and no problem and used dif computers all over the country with no problem , Seems like a little fishie getting in here or a whopper of a story telling as in something dont sound right about this a was in all the other stories before , But it makes for darn good readen

when my computer was down a while ago i had my mom paypal slotusa money from my account from her computer with no problem.....maybe we should have the shadow look into this

Hey Scooby,
by reading this post and your previous posts about ebay and paypal and the whole auction, family bidding, selling, buying things you guys have had the problems with latley, it is obvious to me that this is all a computer problem, First dig up the box that your computer came in, box it back up nice and neat, take it back to where you got it from, and now this is the most important part, don't screw this part up! Tell them that you need to return your computer, They will ask why, and you tell them that you are obviously in need of some computer instruction.

This is my opinion as a Computer Technician with 15+ years experience working in both the public and private sectors. My opinion in no way reflects the opinions of this bulletin board and/or it's membership.

Nix your cookies! You're likely getting two cookies applying for one PayPal slot. Erase the cookies. You will have to re-enter all of your sites with a password, but it should solve your problem with PayPal

Paypal will shut down your account if they detect that there are two logons at the same time from different IP addresses. Its part of their fraud detection.

I have logged on multiple times to Paypal from different computers in the house (without issuse). Both they both share the same IP address behind the firewall/router.

Still its not good practice to provide anyone access to your paypal account when they can just as easy setup their own.
