Found a Monako Victory Pachinko today for $40, The guy I bought it from was selling it for his sister. She had bought it years ago with the intent of making a table out of it. the machine is in pristine and colorful shape and works great. Does anyone know much about the year made and the manufacturer?

Very nice looking Okumara-yuki Monako machine. Build year is 1976.

All machine function pretty much the same. Yours is a model B style so anything you find on that applies, just know your machine will look different.

Maybe its just me, but they look just awful and are not functional at all. Even if I was back in college drank a 12 pack of beer and someone said "Dude you want this for your furnitureless apartment?" I'd reply hell no my crate coffee table has more class. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

I've seen those. Annoys me too. But that makes sense from a standpoint that if there is no way of making the machine work then do it. But I know people are using perfectly good machines to do that.

There was some clutter, blown insulation in every crevice - yech. Well I did not make a table of it but I got the lighting to work and added an accent light - EL tape around the outer ring and hid the power pack behind the glass.

Keith, I see you got the ET machine before I could get my hands on it...I wonder how many other Michigan finds we'll race against each other for! Seriously though, I'm in West Bloomfield, if you ever see something in Metro Detroit and can't get down here in time, let me know, I can fly and grab it for you. Sucks to lose something only because you couldn't get there fast enough. I'm pretty much done on the Pachikno side. Popeye, Woody, and Star Wars...wife is about to kill me. But if Indy Jones came up....just sayin!
