Default New to pachinko VICKY CHANCE help.

I just purchased and received my first Pachinko, it is a 2006 Vicky Chance and I have a few questions.

-How do I adjust the sound?
-how do I adjust the electronic number match odds?
(I am familiar with setting the odds on my pachislo's and I see on the back of my pachinko is a lcd 7 is this the electronic odd setting? And if so what is the process to change it?)

if anyone is familiar with this game, what is the mission mode?

    thanks for the help guys

there should be a 3 position switch by the amp, settings are loud, extra loud and earbursting.

you would need to install your own volume control to make it quieter

you can't adjust the odds on pachinkos, but, you can tweak the pins near the center start pocket for a better chance of getting balls in it

    Welcome to PachiTalk!!

Firstly I wouldn't remove any pins at all!!

please post a close up of the area you think has had pins added, I don't believe a Pachinko Parlour would add extra pins to a modern machine, they may have bent them a little to make pockets harder to hit though

Pins (nails) are adjusted to make a game looser to play ( easier to get balls in pockets)

Nails can be adjusted very gently by bending them slightly, to ensure they don't snap off

(You can check the gaps to see how easy or hard it is to get a ball into a pocket by manually moving the ball through the nails)

Also, the 2006 Vicky Chance is the 2nd one, sometimes referred to as 'Vicky Chance Revolution'

I believe it's roughly based on the original 'Vicky Chance' from 1993 Vicky Chance

I found volume controls for the left and right speaker
Is there a reset switch to turn off fever? I keep winning and it just won't end! I'd like to reset it for when I have some friends over.

i am also planning on making a ball lifter/coin op case with an arduino. Anyone done this already?

either play the fevers and chance rounds out or

look by the on/off switch on back for reset button or leave the pachinko unplugged from the wall outlet for a few days.

for reset hold the button in as you power on the machine

Talking Re: New to pachinko VICKY CHANCE help.

Of course you should know that pachinkos are devious by nature

they like nothing better than to tease you mercilessly for days, then they reward you with 'back to back' Fever rounds that you think will never end

then suddenly a Fever will become a distant memory as you play hundreds and hundreds of balls just hoping to catch that Fever again

Pachinkos are shy too, they'll wait til your friends go home before hitting a Fever, or worse still only fever when your children are playing

Pachinkos, devious little devils but very addictive too

Just realised Vicky Chance Revolution will be in the Sankyo / Bisty 'Lumina' Frame and luckily enough that is one of the more popular frames

We are extra lucky that one of our members daverob has a translated manual for this frame

    Here is the link:

    http://www.pinballdave.com/pachinko/...ina_Manual.pdf

also the '7' you see on the back is probably the 'error code 7' which means it could be out of balls or have a blockage (payout tank empty code)

the error 7 is on page 37 of the manual

    Thanks that's really helpful!
there is a little claw at the top that was holding back the balls from the feed tray, I flipped it over and it's working fine now. I also tweaked some pins back to being strait, so the small payout holes are possible again. I've hit them several times.

Im planning on making a wooden pachislo size case with a worm-style lifter, I also am going to make the lower tray empty slot, feed into a counter where it changes pachislo tokens for balls; using an arduino, coin mech, and pachislo hopper. I may integrate some kind of score display as well.

The idea is to keep the balls inside the machine during jackpot rather than empty it out. I'll make one coin worth 10 balls.

Is there a link to using the emulator dongle as a payout trigger?

    Welcome Aboard

Not quite sure I understand your question, As long as the dongle is set programmed correctly (n set to 1) the machine will payout 25 balls on push of the left hand button. You will not be able to get the dongle to pay out 10 balls instead of 25 as this is a pre set command inside the pachi to deal with inputs from the original parlour ball loan systems. The dongle emulates that system to trigger the 25 ball payout.
That is not to say you can't get a payout of 10 balls on an input, But you would have to tap into the cel wiring and make the machine think a ball has entered the 10 ball payout pocket. An add on rather than using the dongle.

Oh as mentioned you have a machine in a lumina frame, That means that if any titles in this thread take your fancy and you can find one, It takes less than 5 minutes to change your playing field to one of a completely different theme.
