Question Kyoraku - frames Dimension and weight

    Hello Everyone

I bought through the great help of Juno the AKB 48 machine by Kyoraku...still haven't got it (Juno just won it for me a few hours ago...)

The machine is using the newest frame by Kyoraku (Picture attached).

I am having trouble finding the official name of this new frame and also its dimensions (in CM ) and weight...

I have an older machine by Kyoraku (winter Sonata 2 - picture attached) which Ive built a cabinet for and i was wondering if the older frame and this new frame have the same dimensions and weight or if i should plan a new cabinet for it...

Any help clarifying this will be greatly appreciated...

(I'm also adding three pictures of the cabinet Ive built for the Kyoraku Winter Sonata 2 machine...just because )

    Thank you.

    Moshe.

It should be the same height and depth as your winter sonata. All pachi's have been the same size for years. The only difference is the depth and weight. Depending on how many motors and moving parts in the cel. As for the complete weight of the akb48, total weight. No idea. But you might have to have it shipped in 2 boxes. I think there is a link to the frame manual in another thread. Might have the frame weight in that.

We will expect a review of it when it arrives

Okay - after digging and digging i have finally found the name of this frame - is is called "BIG surprise" or "BIGサプライズ" and it replaces the Stadium frame...
    It has three new features:
    1) Folding arms at the top of the frame that are usually closed but when you hit a Jackpot they open up to reveal rotating siren lamps...
    2) The chance button is much bigger (maybe that is the source of the name) in addition it protrudes up on different reach occasions so you can push it all the way down.
    3) The handle have an Air Vibe feature that blows air when P-Flash took place in previous frame.

Im adding a link that shows the new features - just press the appropriate part on the picture.

Do you know how many balls yours is coming with or has it been modifyied to cyclic. Alot of machiens I look at have been modified to cyclic. Its not a big problem as I can play both, But unmodified is better.
The give away is when it says it comes with 20 or 50 balls.

The machine is the "Cyclic type".
One more interesting thing about this specific seller is that he ships every machine with some sort of a controller - which im not sure its functions (maybe letting you control the odds or force a Jackpot) - but i was assured that this does not come instead of "Normal Play" but as an addition that you don't have to use.

In addition Ive added the following options the seller offers:

    Battle Counter.
    Cabinet
    Factory Key
    External Power Switch.

I'm adding the link of the machine auction page - maybe someone can explain what the controller do or add some other interesting details about it since my Japanese is very Basic

    Here

    Thank you

I that the auction you won? Thats not Juno's normal id

The machine has got volume controls fitted. Some people glue them on, Some like in on of the pictures show they drilled through the rear ball tank and mounted them there. Also the little box is an auto play unit. In short it sends pulses to the start pocket sensor (adjustable speed via the black knob) Also has a press button and i suspect it will also pulse the jackpot trapdoor ball sensors so the fever/jackpot rounds can be veiwed quickley, rather than waiting for each of the 15 rounds to time out.

By the looks of it, they strip and clean the plastics and cel ready for use.
