Default What is your favorite vintage pachinkos?

Ok guys. what are your favorite vintage machines. And what are your reasons? I'm looking at specific machines. What machine would you pay the most for, even if it was in fairly ugly shape? And what are your reasons?

For example, I'll always pay more for Nishijin 'A' recyclers because the lessened need to refill the jackpot supply tray.

The five bells machine looks like it has a very unique scoring table.

I had a Nishijin 'B' shark diver, but it really was a pedestrian machine, the payout table was not very unique and the playfield was rather simplistic. My Bowling 'A' has a much more unique payout table, and my Hippo 78 Sankyo has more payout variety as well.

My most played machine right now is my T-Bird PowerFlash. I absolutely love the machine. Adding the GAKU counter made it even more fun.

I have one of the Great White machines you refer to, however it is a Computer Pachinko which definitely adds to the fun.

My favorite vintage is the one we had around at my Dad's house. It's a single shot Narita. Nothing fancy, and was never even wired with lights. We definitely played the heck out of this one.

These by far and all their relatively few but various versions.
    -Quick games.
-Payout in whatever coin you choose.
-Having to shoot for specific pockets to accomplish a goal. As opposed to all pockets doing the same thing (ie paying out the same number of balls) Its more of a challenge and more engaging.
-Bonus modes that carry over to next game if not used although not all machines have this. Clever idea by the manufacturers to keep players playing.
    -Cel theme

Favorite machines... that can be a really long list.

Here is my list in order.

    • Arrangeballs / coin-op
    • Nishijin Power machines (UFO, Circuit Racer, Power Flash, Power Roulette, Super Bang, Spinning Fish)
    • My 63 Towakogyo (pics below. Picked it up from member alphaminor. Thanks again! Going to customize it a bit... or a lot. )
    • Pre 1955 machines. (They just have a cool look to them)
    • Any machine I redo basically.
    • Nishijin Model A Bowling
    • Nishijin Model A Rolling Stone
    • Off Brand machines (like National, Besta, Isuzu, New Ichigin, 3 Star)
    • Basic machines in good shape
    • Machines in bad shape
    • Parts
    • Uh... (just felt like adding another point. )

    100 machines and counting...

My favorite machines are all the ones that emmadog has (and I don't)! Those are sweet!

I guess I would have to say my Rolling Stone, but I have to say I enjoy my Nishijin single shot most (even though it needs a really bad restoration...hence the reason for no pictures here)!

All of the machines in my collection are my favorites (only because I sold the machines I didn't like as much).

My goal is to collect at least one vintage machine from each era and variety over the earlier years. My most two most prized "early" machines are my Narita (pic 1) and my Hokoku Half Gauge (pic 2). Then there are several 1950's era single ball machines with interesting features and/or mechanics, two Arrange Ball machines, a computer Pachinko, a China Man Power Flash, a Nishijin Mini-Mouth, two hanemono machines (Derby King and Hit Parade), and finally my Star Wars machine.

Then there is my collection of Allwin machines...

As far as manufacturer goes, I prefer Nishijin. Fun to play, easy to work on and restore. Not sure why but I am drawn to Nishijins model-C, I will go out of my way and pay a little more for one, I just can't get enough. Don't get me wrong I also love the Nishijin model A and B.
    Favorite model A is Bowling,MVC-292F.jpg
Favorite model B is Power Flash,Power Flush 1975.jpg
Favorite model C is You win,Shootout.jpg I have had this one for 21 years
