    Default Race Queen by Olympia

Have a Race Queen machine and I can't get the machine to reset the E4 error and alarm. E4 is a hopper issue but I can't find anything wrong with it. Help It did work in the past. I unplugged the hopper and the alarm went off, and have never been able to reset

A "Hard Reset" of the machine should clear the error code.

Here are the steps. (You must do each step in order and exactly as stated or the machine will not reset.)

    1. With the machine turned OFF, turn the reset key,(on the power supply), to the right.
    2. Now turn your machine ON. (The machine stays ON from this point and DOESN'T GET TURNED OFF.)
    3. Set your odds. 1-6,(1=less payout), I'am pretty sure the white button on your power supply is used to change the odds from 1 to 6 on that machine. Just keep pushing it till you get the odds you want, it will displayed on the front of machine in the credit window.
    4. Hold down on the spin lever. (Approx. 5 seconds)
    5. Turn the reset key to the left. (when turning the reset key to the left you should hear a "click sound" from your coin mechanism, if not , your machine did not reset.

have you tried turning the wheel at the bottom of the hopper by hand to see if its jammed.

it could be a bent token

Tried about a dozen times, I don't get the "click". Should the sound come from the hopper or where the coins go in? Either way no luck yet

Are there any bent pins in the terminal connectors to the hopper. Sometimes unplugging and plugging can bend them and not connect.

Ok, the "click sound" comes from the coin mechanism, (where you put the tokens in). When the machine is in error the coin mechanism will not accept tokens. They will just fall through to the bottom payout tray. A magnet in the coin mechanism releases a metal plate, when the machine is in error and when the machine is not in error the magnet pulls the metal plate in so that tokens will be accepted. That magnet pulling the metal plate in is the "click sound" I'am talking about.

Your machine is E4 error code. The information I have for an Olympia machine shows this to be a Ram error code. To reset the machine, a "Hard reset" or pushing the "reset button" should reset it. The reset button is on the inside of the door.

If neither of these options work, I'd start checking all your connections, unplugging them and then plugging them back in.

Here's a picture of the error codes and the inside of your door, (Your machine is Model #3), showing the location of the reset button.

How do you get a new battery for the RAM. It is only pulling 3.8v. It is labeled 5.5V. I think this is why the reset is not working.
