I sent you a proper email.
Also how high can these ball lifters go?
I was thinking it might work well with my new cabinet design.
I'm uncertain of the height from the floor to the top of the hopper. It might be over 4 feet.

Open question to others that have had lifters longer than I.

Will it affect the lifter (overheat-damage the motor, damage the geared wheel) if I extend the tube by 14-16 inches. I can make it work as is if I have my ball storage on top but to have the room for my storage under the machines the tube is just not going to be long enough and I don't want to risk damaging it.

I only have one, but it is in a cabinet about 2+ feet under the pachinko..Its always worked fine, but its not like I've ever used it for super long periods at a time..

i would be conserned if ya ran it long periods of time... the machiens seems to be able to lift fine but the long term heat of feeding multi machines?

I am thinking that I may need to find another lifter for my big cab (ballzilla rings a bell) and use the orange lifter in a smaller cab with 2 machines back to back (or 4, two on each side) that I have been thinking about for years. I still don't know yet

    Hey Hank
I set up a ball lifter on my Captain Robert about 2 years ago like shown. I'm pushing the balls up 72 inches. Using a step down transformer, it wouldn't push the balls to this height, but plugging into 110v and it works fine. This is one of my favorite machines, so I put a lot of hours playing with this set up without any problems.
I extended the riser using 1/2" copper "L" tubing and a coupling.

great! that is even more lift than I will need so I think I will keep working on my plan. I am thinking 20,000 storage just under the machines (under the top of the desk I built it on) and a dump-storage aria on top to add winnings back in to save the lifter from having to lift them twice. now to work out the details.

Questions to look at and Answer as to wear and tear on the lifter, feeding capacity to the Pachinko Machines, how many sphere's needed and how big to build the containment area to the lifter.

    1. How many Pachi's will the Lifter be feeding?
    2. How many Pachi's will be used at the same time (on Average)
    3. Even if ALL machines are being used, How many will ever "Fever" at the same Time?

Still do not have the time to do up Quality Videos but I will work on how many Spheres (1000) are moved in how much time at both U.S. and Japan Voltages. Will report back as soon as this is done.

    O.K. Results are IN. . .

First I ran 20000 Sphere's through the Lifter not 1000. Wanted to run the Motor a bit to give it a workout. Counting of the "Said" 2000 Sphere's was done Via Daverob's Fantastic Dongle in my Pallot. Thank You Dave.

I also used a "In Fer Red" heat gun at the end of each run to get the Temp of the Motor. I let it cool down between Runs.

    Results were:

    At 100.2 volts. (Japan Voltage).

Time was 4 min 30 seconds. Temp on Motor was 105 degrees.

    At 120.8 volts (U.S. Voltage).

Time was 4 min 15 seconds. Temp on Motor was 118 degrees.

15 seconds less using 20.6 extra volts to move 2000 Sphere's. Temp was raised 13 degrees.

Dogs ran for the HILLS ! ! !

Hope these Stats help out. . . .

    And Just a "BUMP"

The other three Lifters arrived Tuesday. I picked the best one of the three out of the Lot to add to the Mix. 4 are still available to our Members.

    B U M P

Just sold one of the last two lifters available. The info on them is in post 24. (shipping Cost includs insurance for the full purchase price now that my Fed X Account is seasoned)

Have 2 contacts in Japan searching for Bulk Lot sales of them (cheaper to purchase overall that way with shipping) None found so far. Still looking for them and Pica Cell Cleaner Tools and a way to get the cleaner spray to the States.

Just received my ball lifter. Thank you for the excellent packing and quick shipping. That had to be one of the best packed packages I have ever received. I am really looking forward to setting this up on JAWS.

Glad to hear it arrived O.K.

I purchased 200 LB rated boxes to ship these in.

Remember placing the spring in the Top Hopper is the Key to making that upper switch you place in the Hopper work correctly. I
would place the end of the spring about in the middle of the rubber pad of the switch and have the end of it just above the lip of
the Hopper wall. Any higher and the Sphere's may bounce out of the Hopper..

I installed the ball lifter yesterday. Had to make a couple of slight modifications to the cabinet I purchased for the machine. Everything is working perfectly now. Thank you so much for the excellent lifter!!! Definitely makes playing the game a lot more fun!!!

Can you post a pic of the installation since you have a pachinko cabinet like mine?

    Thanks!

Awesome thanks alot. I have been considering getting one of these but if I really like them I might get into trouble because I will have too many machines to put them on.

The modifications I made were pretty simple. I removed the triangle shaped board in the reservoir that acts as a ramp to the front door. I then drilled a 1 inch hole in the bottom of the reservoir at the back right on the "V". I also cut out about one inch of the triangle board I removed at the tip and installed it backwards to guide the balls to the hole I made. This makes the front door useless but channels all the balls to the lifter. I then had to cut a small slit in the bottom of the back board on the reservoir. This allowed me to mount the ball lifter flush to the bottom of the cabinet with nails provided with the lifter.

The height of the ball lift worked out perfectly as far as reaching the upper hopper of my machine. and I am still able to use the funnel on top for adding more balls if necessary.

Pictures may make more sense than my description.

I would say the cleaner spray is not unique : ie. there *must* be an equivalent formulation freely available in the States. Novus 2?

However the Pica Cell Cleaner and brushes set is somewhat unique in my experience. You can make do with other stuff, but...

Hello mate - totally prepared to be dead wrong.

How is the cell cleaner (fluid we're talking) unique?

Your brush looks to be very harsh bristled? I believe the brushes that come with the cleaner set are softer?
