Default My new Pink Panther Pachinko decides to give us a show

So it started with a vintage as a gift, a second great deal on Craigslist and then watching Ebay and seeing the modern machines. An opportunity came up to buy a Pink Panther and it just looked interesting, so I got it. At first, I was a bit disappointed. With the door open, I dropped a few balls in and got a minor payout but then we played it a bit more and got a few more interesting things happening. But it still seemed to never payout much. I also found some notes from the previous owner that said that the Pink Panther arm didn't move and that a door (marked "Open") never opened and I noticed the same things.

Its funny how a few minutes can change things. I was going to write a post asking how I might go about fixing these issues - but at the same time, by grandson decided he wanted to play. It was doing things for him that I had never seen it do. So then my daughter started playing and it went crazy. There were animations going and it was paying out and then it went into a bonus round, which went on and on to the point that I was constantly refilling the balls (in fact I had the lower payout trap door open so the balls were going right into a tub so I could just keep dumping them back in).

I guess this was a "fever round" I read about. It was pretty amazing. We managed to get a partial video to show what was going on. The screen is so bright, you can't see it most of the time, but he did get a few seconds where you can see the Bonus round indicator. The rest of the time, you can see the lights flashing, Pink Panther moving and the door (near the bottom) is open and the balls are just pouring into it (the ball jam helped) and paying out. I can't even guess how much it paid out but you can see in the video that I have to keep refilling it...

There are still a couple things I need to fix. The lights in the front door aren't working, but since its all of them, I figure it might be something loose. The front door itself doesn't lock shut (not sure this really hurts anything).

But at least I am happy now... I just hope it doesn't make us wait too long to decide to give us another show.

it looks like you need to adjust a few nails were the balls are jamming up,

look it over first before opening the glass to see which nails are causing the jam

    thanks for the video

we got another bonus round and managed a "better" video, really hard to get anything good since it's so bright, but we got a little bit of everything.
