I really love my JAWS machine. Being that it is my first and only modern, I am probably not the best source for suggestions. A couple that have caught my eye are Matrix, Star Trek, and the Looney Tunes ones looks cool. I definitely would snag a Julie Pinball and a Star Wars machine if the prices weren't so high.
