    Default First video

    Hurrah!

I have posted up my first video. I take a typical 1970's Nishijin front ball feeder tray and go through all of the steps for disassembly and cleaning. Good information for beginners on a very common proceedure.

You can go to http://pachinkoplanet.com and select videos from the menu, or just hit this link:

I hope people find this useful and helpful, and I hope to post many more similar videos in the future.

Enjoy, and let me know what you think!

Looks good. I think some beginers might find that to be very informative.

I just want to give you a heads up on your next video. Make sure to have your camera in a macro mode so you can actually see what you are doing, because at the moment it is a little difficult to tell. Also antoher thing just be aware of how big you camera frame is because at the end you were raising parts out of frame so I couldn't see them. Another thing is that you might want to take it just a tad bit slower. I think if was a little fast and it would be somewhat difficult to keep up with.

Other wise everything else looks great and I can't wait to see your next one.

P.S. On your website you might want to ad a note at the top saying that it will take a little while to download the video. It took me around 6 minutes to download that one.

    100 machines and counting...

This video was taken with a Nikon D3100 in HD. We don't have a macro lens, hence the blur issues. Ordered a macro lens from ebay, should be here in a week. We plan to leave that one up as it still can be helpful to people, and look at reshooting once we get the new macro lens.

Point well taken on the camera frame, it is something that will take a bit of getting used to.

I must be on the slow boat because it took much longer to load than to watch. Funny thing is... I was polishing plastic of the same assembly while watching!

No, I removed all links to it due to the poor quality and never uploaded it anywhere. I am glad you reminded me though, I had intended to make a new one but it completely slipped my mind. So much to do, so many projects, it is amazing that any of them ever get completed. Right now I have most of my energy going into a project that should be done in less than a month, and without letting the cat out of the bag, this project is going to be something that everyone in the pachinko community will take note of.

That said, it still exists as an orphan file on my website, and it should be able to be viewed by navigating to pachinkoplanet.com/videos/Nishtray.wmv. I will leave it there until I produce a better one and upload it to youtube.
