You really want to see pictures of the actual machine so you can see how much TLC it needs and if it is even worth saving.

A CL seller here also posted a pic of a vintage and said the one they were selling looked similar to it. Not sure why they didn't just post a pic of their machine. Hopefully on this one the ad just means it needs a little effort to be cleaned up, because for $25 it could be a great buy.

I saw that too. I was thinking, in addition to condition, that the colors might be what you like and get something that looks similar that you don't like.

I contacted the selling party with an email...They are located about 40 miles from me. I got a call from them last night about 9 P.M. and so I posed a few questions about their machine. They told me it had some damage from years ago when it was shipped to them. From what I understand there is a sizeable chunk of plastic in the front of the machine that is missing. The man said the break area measure around 3" wide by 4" long and it is pretty pronounced when you look at it. Since they didm't bother to mention that in their CL listing who knows what else may be going on. I bowed out and said it wasn't anything I wanted to deal with. I just don't think this seller knows what he really has and isn't motivated to take pics to make the sale!!!
