Shadow Hearts II is an awesome game.
I hope more of them become readily available in the U.S.
I think many people would enjoy this title.

One Of the many things i like is the drop-in medal slot.
it allows your to DROP about 28 medals down the slot.
There is a nice roller bearing that smooths rapid medal feeding.

Something you don't often see in a pachi..
You choose either the safer or potentially more lucrative path.


There are many story branches, and mini games that keeps things interesting.
the fortune telling game is one of my favorites
It's quite hard to win


The video reels in the game change among many designs
some being very rare. Mizuho calls this Vari-reel"


There is also the split-reel.
I have only seen this once so far
There's a sub-woofer-like BOOM that shakes the game when you land on this.
It's quite rare, and you only get one spin before it goes away.



I don't actually know what happens if you hit 7's on that

The music is varied and nice. Some of the music is quite catchy
The lighting is more colorful then you might expect looking at the frame in daylight.
Many colors are hiding in the subdued frame design; green yellow blue red and white

The game only has four odds levels; 2 4 6 and H
level 2 is the only profit setting paying less then 100%
levels 4 6 and H all pay more the 100%
I would have liked having six levels.

Shadow Hearts II is a blast,
but does have some sexist and stereotype imagery,
so I would not recommend this game for very young players.
