A Day at the Acropolis

Well myself and my partner in crime, (a certain mischievous 3.5 year old) seeing that it was a lovely spring day decided to make our way to the Acropolis. I thought well i will bring a camera along and hopefully be able to take some pics worth sharing..

I wasnt able to take too many photos due to Jr. not wanting to cooperate in my photo taking endeavors but here are a few pics i was able to take.

The Acropolis must have been breath taking in it's original state. It is still an architectural wonder. Thank you for the photos.

Thanks Sid! Brings back memories of seeing the Acropolis in person back in the 80's. Ahhhh, souvlaki on a stick in Glyfada Square in between bottles of Amstel!

This reminds me of the first time I took my (too young) son to the Pyramids. He stood there, in the shadow of one of the most magnificent sites in the world... and said "What's the big deal, it is just a big pile of rocks!"

I'm happy to say that as he matured, he became very interested in them and has been back several times, even once on his own. He's a little embarrassed when I remind him (and I do) about his initial reaction.
