    Default Sakura Fubuki

    Hey anyone/everyone,

Haven't posted in a while, but thats because I was looking and looking..

I saw this interesting machine on ebay and it is not far from me. I am really interested.

Anyone have any info on this type of machine ? They
claim its a pachinko, but think not... Say it takes quarters, but have only seen machines take tokens on this site... Any info is much appreciated, how much is too much for this type ? I know money is in the eye of the beholder ... but... thanks...

it looks like a pachislo to me!!

... and you will only ever see them taking tokens on this site as we do not endorse or discuss converting them to accept currency as this is illegal in some states

    http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/freq...ite-rules.html

I can't see this model in our Research Centre, but if you try a 'search' of the forums, It should bring up some posts regarding this one

Okay I did a little investigating and so far found out:

this one seems to be a Heiwa model from 2000 and has a 4th reel

I understand that it speaks in English only during the 'Super Bonus Round'

Hopefully Members with this model can provide more info

Thanks !! No problem, I understand rules etc. just wasn't sure if the seller knew what he was talking about, since I only saw tokens being discussed here. I am not a gambler, my ex had a problem in that area, so it totally turned me off that kind of thing,

It is at a very nice price right now... I wouldn't want it if it went past $100.

It can be, but you'll have to find that info elsewhere. Having said that, it may just take tokens as it is.

"IT" Looks like a Very Clean Pachi.

If you get "IT" give me a PM and I will help you convert "it" back to Tokens.

I have that one's brother Sakura Habuki. Just had to go fire it up to see what it did. Fun machine. The 4th reel jumps around a lot. For ex. It will land on the girl, she'll say something in Japanese, then jump to the old man who will laugh.

Don't know if that one is, but Habuki is one of the few 1-2-3 bet machines I have. Uses both tokens and those other things unmodified.

    Gotta catch 'em all Pa-chink-o

My bad... Just found out my machine is Sakura Fubuki Naniwa. The e-bay one is Sakura Fubuki Oedo, which is the older of the two.

The first machine, from 2000, is Ōedo Sakura Fubuki (大江戸桜吹雪).
The second machine, from 2001, is Naniwa Sakura Fubuki (浪花桜吹雪).

Edo is the former name of Tokyo, Japan.
Naniwa is the former name of Osaka, Japan.

The machines have a Tōyama no Kin-san theme.

The main character is a town magistrate who fights crime by going under cover as Kin-san the playboy. When he was ready to reveal his true identity he showed his famous sakura fubuki (cherry blossom blizzard) tattoo.

All the dialog is Japanese, it just has some loanwords like "sūpā biggu".

The used Ōedo Sakura Fubuki machines often sold for less money because of a design defect. The light bulbs made burn marks to the left of the reel window.
